STRIKING THE SEA: THE CONVICTION OF MUSA (Peace be upon him)
Running,
Enemies behind,
A sea in front,
And the only instruction is to strike the sea with my staff?
I have been pondering on this since morning. I know I talk about Du'a and trusting Allah, but could I, truly in that moment, trust Him enough to raise my staff in surrender without attempting to find another route, maybe swim, or even give up to the hands of enemies and just beg?
The conviction of Musa: "MY LORD IS WITH ME; HE WILL GUIDE ME" And indeed, the Lord of Musa did guide him, parting the sea for him and paving the way for his escape.
Again, a reminder to myself to stop bothering about how my dua will be answered.
I only have to pray with conviction that my Lord will come through for me, like He did for Musa.
I hope I always remember that the Lord of Musa who parted the sea for Him on a day like this years ago is still on His throne.
He's my Lord, your Lord, and I hope this brings comfort to your soul like it did to mine, Beloved Slave of Ar-Rahman.
I ask Allah to grant us total Yakeen in Him, make us His beloved slaves, and grant all Muslims in the world victory over their oppressors.
❤️❤️❤️
