If like me, this Day of ‘Arafah has met your soul tired and heavy… but your heart still wants to make the most of it because really, whobelse do we run to, if not to Him? Lol.
Here are a few cheat codes that can summarize everything your soul longs to say today:
1. Istighfaar:
The Prophet ﷺ said:
> “Whoever constantly seeks forgiveness, Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress, relief from every anxiety, and will provide for him from where he does not expect.”
— [Abu Dawood]
RabbighfirLi as much as you're able to.
2. Salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ
A man once asked the Prophet ﷺ:
> “O Messenger of Allah, how much of my du'a should I devote to sending blessings upon you?”
The Prophet replied: “As much as you like.” The man said, “A quarter?” The Prophet said, “Whatever you wish — but if you increase, it will be better for you...” Until the man asked, “What if I devote all of my du'a to you?”
The Prophet replied:
“Then your worries will be taken care of, and your sins will be forgiven.”
If Allahumma Selim is all you're able to do today, know it won't be in vain.
3. Ya Hayyu, Ya Qayyum:
These are the Names the Prophet ﷺ called upon in the heat of Badr. When things were at their most intense, it's reported that he went into Sujood and said nothing else but:
“Ya Hayyu, Ya Qayyum… Ya Hayyu, Ya Qayyum…”
Call upon Him with these Names : the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining. He will come through, just as He did for His beloved.
Khayr, bi idhnillah, dearest slave of Ar-Rahman.
May your Du’as be answered, even the ones you no longer have the strength to utter. Hold on, sabr, just a little more of it. 🤍
Don't forget the Tahleel and Tahmeed, and give in charity, no matter how little.
Your Du'a buddy
Aayah
BaarokaLlaahu feek, your du'a template has always come through for me, may Allaah continue to preserve your soul upon khayr.
JazākAllahu khayron
